Guest guest
JAI GURUDEV. Guruji, Ref.: Lesson - 2. I beg an apology being late in submitting the answers. Intially I thought, since very recently I had sent my answers to this lesson to Varahamihira, just before switching over to SJVC, I can attempt second time only once after I progress spiritually little better. How ever as there has been reminder, I am just submitting the answers for formality with an awareness that, my answers are very childish and I need a lot deeper insight to be gained for an improvised submission of answers. 1. Try to define the role of GOD in your life. It is evident from the lesson that, the God is imperceptible for common human beings. His Avataras are perceptible and guides the willing being to attain Moksha by strict adherence to Satwik attitudes and Satwik actions. Main hurdles are inclination of Manas(mind) towards Rajasic and Tamasic desires which in the process prevents the Atma from attaining its goal of Moksha. Hence obviously, the GOD has been my ultimate goal of my life. There fore I attribute if any benevolent action are performed my me, it is because of GOD. In other words, The GOD is the reason for my all satwik deeds. 2.What have you done in the past One year to come closer to God. Materialistically or outwardly though nothing but mentally, I believe I am able to move closer, of course although with snails pace. I am spending a part of every day in reciting shlokas, purascharanas, mantras and there by striving hard to direct loose mind to be controlled by the Atma. Nothing specifically any thing considerable in last one year, except little direction. 3. Which statement is more relevant,a) God is all orb) All is God. In my humble opinion, All is God. 4. How is the role of a Jyotish is different from a priest? Jyotisha, he himself must be a role model first by virtue of his actions, attitudes and deeds. He being an able interpreter of future of all human beings, can guide all individuals by making them know their Karmas by studying their Horoscopes. He can advice them proper method for attaining the ultimate goal of freeing one from cycles of births. Where as a Priest, shall help an individual or society to perform remedial measures/pariharas to overcome debts of past lives, as directed by the Jyotisha. 5. Sanskrite Words are being listed separately. Namra Shishya,Mohan Hegde.
