Dear Solai Guru & fellow-students

 

In the quest for the referrals to planets in the scriptures, as advised by

Solai Guru, I rummaged my library this weekend. Found 1. "Myths & Symbols

of Vedic Astrology" by Bipin Behari, & 2. "The greatness of Saturn" by R

Svoboda

 

The first specifically contains the vedic stories about each planet, sign &

nakshatra, ie those ARE the various chapters, 9 chapters on planets, 12 on

signs, & 27 on the3 nakshatras

 

The 2nd is on Saturn, but starts with the experience of each planet in

Vikramaditya's court, a story of the navagrahas vying for "who's the

fairest (actually, powerfulest) of all", tho most of the book after that is

about Saturn, who wins the argument

 

While I have only just started reading the 1st, I would recommend that

others read at least the 1st.
