She is now staying at my in-laws house. I have just finished reading about the unique concept of marana karaka from your book on Narayana Dasa. And on opening her horoscope , my eyes stuck to her Taurus rasi which is placed in the 3rd house from the antardasa rasi , Pisces - so has become marana karaka in this antardasa . In Narayana Dasa of cancer , she is running the antardasa of Pisces now . Please note that the lord of mahadasa rasi i.e. moon is debilitated and very weak in paksha bala being the moon of krishna -chaturdasi.( She was born on Maha Sivaratri night and herself is devoted to Lord Siva . I have examined the horoscope to determine her Ista according to your lesson and found that Lord Siva is her Ista.) In this case , it is possible that she is destined to suffer in this mahadasa of Cancer and it will be intensified in the antardasa of Pisces . In the vimsottari , she is running Jupiter -venus -venus. Jupiter is 12th and 3rd lord , the atmakaraka(gives different kind of sufferings in its dasa) and also taking part in the terrifying Guru-chandala yoga. As AK and undergoing Guru-chandala yoga , aspected by mars in rasi dristi , what kind of suffering she may experience in the mahadasa of Jupiter , and in the antardasa of Pisces? Capricorn as the 10th sign stands for the knees. In your wife's case, both lagna and moon are in capricorn. The 10th from moon and ascendant is libra ruled by venus which is also in capricorn. So the transit of mars over capricorn appears to affect mulitple (4) indicators for the knees. As ruler of capricorn is also with 6th ruler mercury and mars and sun in the 2nd, is this possible? If this is the case, then the problem with the knees would turn out to be of a mechanical nature (muscle, tendon or stress related) I would think, rather than something like rheumatism which is more saturnian. Or it could be fluid retention (cap is half water half earth) with the two watery planets there being afflicted by mars. This is all just speculation on my part. In general, any afflictions to lagna (i.e. the body) affect the sign occupied by lagna, and therefore there is often a weakness in the part indicated by the lagna. Digestion for virgos etc. In my case, with gemini ascendant, I had chronic bronchitis as a kid until around the age of about 13, which could be due to the aspect by saturn from the 4th. She is gradually improving . Clinically it does not appear to be rheumatism ,like Acute Rheumatoid arthritis, or Gout , but let the results of investigations come , then the picture will be clear. Your reason to arrive at the conclusion is fantastic . But , I am more concerned about her Narayana antardasa of pisces from which Jupiter is in 3rd house thus became marana karaka- an afflicted marana karaka .What would be the result?
