Guest guest
Pranams, Please find enclosed answers for lesson 1. Q. 1 The earth rotates itself on its axis, which is at an angle of 23-27 , while going around the sun. Due to this inclination of the earth-axis, the rays falling on different parts of the earth are not equal in quantity. This phenomenon ,with the earth's rotation around the sun, the seasonal changes occur. Q. 2 Because of the tilt of axis of earth, the poles are either facing or away from the sun. The first one causing no sunset and the second one no sunrise. Q.3. The grahas, Sun to Ketu, are the moving bodies. The rasis and nakshatras are the non-moving bodies. The movement of the grahas are calculated against the background of the non-moving bodies. With regards. Shastry S V.
