Guest guest
Jai Guru Dev, Herewith I am presenting my answers to the lesson no. 1: 1. The Earth axis is not vertical. Because of the inclined Earth axis, different quantity of Sun ray's falls on different parts of the Earth. Since the Earth circles around the Sun the seasons change, because every time another part of Earth is closer to, resp. further from the Sun. 2. Because of the same thing (tilt of Earth axis) poles are either pointed towards the Sun (no Sunset) or away from the Sun (no Sunrise). 3. Moving heavenly bodies are grahas (incl. Rahu and Ketu who are not actual planets but mathematical points) and upagrahas who are also mathematical points. Non-moving heavenly bodies are rasis and makshatras. 4. I was born in Cakovec, Croatia, on May 20, 1967, longitude 16° 26E and latitude 46°23N, time zone –1h, Lagna (eastern horizon) Mithuna 6°08 Nakshatra Mrigasira was rising. Lahiri Ayanamsha 23:23:54. Sunrise 6:11:50, season spring Grahas above the horizon: Sukra (nak. Arudra), Guru (naks. Pushya), Chandra and Mangal (naks. Hasta) and Ketu (naks. Swati). Grahas below the horizon: Sani (naks. Uttarabhadra), Rahu (naks. Aswini), Budh (naks. Rohini) and Surya (naks. Krttika). Division of grahas above and below the horizon is very balanced (5 grahas above, 4 grahas below the horizon). Surya is on 5°17 in Vrishabha in Uttarayana, Chandra is waxing 72° (Shukla Ekadasi) Now I have one question: sunrise was at 6:11:50, I was born at 6:15:00 (La – Mithuna 6°08) but Surya was below the horizon (Vrishabha 5°07) – was it a day or a night birth? Thank you for your evaluation. Jai Guru Dev Zeljka
