Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah ---------------- Namaste Solai, Yes, it was indeed a typo and propagated thanks to copy and paste! I verified my rough sheet and carried out the correction in my file. Thanks for the lesson/correction. Now, navamsa doesn't scare me any longer. Can we have a lesson on other D-charts' calculation/fixation too? Guest guest
Respected Solaiji and Gaurangaji, I am sorry to be late due to pre-occupation. I am submitting my answer to small exercise. I shall answer lesson-1 within next few days. Please accept the same. 1. Prepare the Rasi and Navamsa chakra or chart for the following Nakshatra pada information. Nakshatra Pada Rashi Degree Navmsa Asc Aasresha 3 Can 23:20-26:40 Aqua Sun Anuradha 1 Sco 3:20-6:40 Leo Moon Uttarashada 3 Pie 10:00-13:20 Lib Mars P. Phalguni 1 Leo 13:20-16:40 Leo Virgottama Mercury Anuradha 3 Sco 10:00-13:20 Lib Jup (R ) Rohini 2 Tau 13:20-16:40 Tau Virgottama Ven Poorvashada 3 Sag 20:00-23:20 Lib Sat Aasresha 2 Can 20:00-23:20 Cap Rahu Moola 4 Sag 10:00-13:20 Can Ketu Aardra 2 Gem 10:00-13:20 Cap 2. List the corresponding Nakshatra padas which will fall in the same Navamsa of the above planets. For example, in the Aries Navamsa, 1st pada of Ashwini, Rohini, Punarvasu, Magam, Hastam, Vishakam, Moola, Shravana, Purva Bhatrapada, will fall. Answer is enclosed (Navamsa & Nakshatra.doc) 3. What are the padas which will give Vargottama status? Aswini-1(Ari), Rohini-2(Tau), Punarvasu-3(Gem), Punarvasu-4(Can), P.Phalguni-1(Leo), Chitra-2(Vir), Chitra-3(Lib), Anuradha-4(Sco), Uttarashada-1(Sag), Uttrashada-2(Cap), Shavashita-3(Aqu), Revati-4(Pie) I have enclosed an exel sheet (Nakshatra Padas.xls) showing tabulation of various nakshatra pada corresponding to rashi, with degree exaultation and debiliation. I do not know exaultation and debiliation degree of Rahu & Ketu. So that has not been incorporated. The tabulation has also been given in rashi chart form. I think this may be helpfull to newcomers like me. Pleae see if the tabulations are correct. With regards, Dasgupta - solai (AT) theihb (DOT) com sjvc Friday, November 09, 2001 2:43 PM [sjvc] Evaluation of "small exercise" - Part 2 OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAHJAYA JAGANNATHANamaste Jyotisha,Out of the 117 members, only 28 members have answered. Similarly for the 1st Lesson. Please participate for you benefit. Next week another lesson will be posted. Here is the 2nd Part of the Evaluation.15. Virendra Parashar: 30.10.2001:- Excellent answers. But, for answer 2, you have copied what Vishwanatham has given and made the same mistake of leaving Kritikka in the list of Moon and Ketu.16. Subash Rana: 30.10.2001:- Very good answers. Rasi chart is correct. In Navamsa, Jupiter must be in Tarus. Please check. Please do not rely on the formula. If you play with Nakshatra, its pada and Navamsa, you will get lots of interesting combinations. By doing so, you will memorise all the Nakshatra padas. About Vargottama, I have explained in the 1st part of this evaluation. Please try to answer question 3 based on the definition.17. Radhikatma das: 31.10.2001:- Excellent answers. About Vargottama, I explained in the 1st part of this evaluation, please try to answer based on the definition.18. Alan Goodman: 1.11.2001 :- Simple and to the point answers. Excellent keep it up.19. Supriti: 31.10.2001:- All are correct, except Sun which is not falling in Virgo. You could have typed the Nakshatra padas of the Vargottama status.20. Vinod Srinivasan: 1.11.2001:- Your idea of standardization of question and answer is good. But, the purpose of assignment is not lying purely on the answers. Grasping the content of the lessons and learning lesson related matters is important. 21. Rajaram: 1.11.2001:- Excellent reply. No further comments.22. Darpahadasa: 1.11.2001:- Excellent reply. No further comments.23. Atma Prakash: 3.11.2001:- Excellent answers.24. Karen Skoler: 3.11.2001:- Perfect.25. Venkateswara: 4.11.2001:- Correct answers. In answer 2, there will be Nakshatras falling in each Navamsa. Also you have covered only 4 Navamsas, but, in the Navamsa chart, planets are placed in 6 Navamsas. 26. Chandramukha das :4.11.2001:- Perfect. Except Moon, which will fall in Capricorn Rasi and Aquarius Navamsa.27. Krishna Padmasola: 7.11.2001:- Great work. You worked hard on this lesson. Your extra credit is very good thinking. Because of the mathematical parts many of us might not have read that portion. Hence, leaving the maths portion, sum up your findings including all planets and please re-submit to the benefit of others.28. Lakshmi Ramesh: 8.11.2001:-Excellent. You left Krittika in the last 4 Navamsas in the 2nd Answer. It must be a Typo. 29. Vishvakarma (TOSHIO SANO):- Excellent. You sent the answers to me directly. In future send the answers to the list.ThanksSolai Kannan Attachment: (application/msword) Navamsa & Nakshatra.doc [not stored] Attachment: (application/x-msexcel) Nakshatra Padas.xls [not stored]
Guest guest
Om Shri Gurave Namah Jai Jagannath ------------------ Respected Solai ji, I thank you for evaluating the response. You are right we should not always depend upon the formulas. I have checked my response and found the error in the Navmasa (Jupiter in Tarus). I have corrected it in my files. I had posted my response earlier also but I could not find it on the messages so I am rewriting my above mail. I shall shortly be sending you my response on the Lesson No.1 and the 3rd question of small exercises. Regards, Subhash Rana > 16. Subash Rana: 30.10.2001:- Very good answers.
