Guest guest
Dear Krishna Padmasola Your question was: Why is Mn the only planet which cant get deb in navamsa while being exalted in Rasi? The answer is very simple, & you would have got it instantaneously if you had used the diagrammatic approach I gave in an earlier e-mail, which brings a whole lot of all these relationships very vividly, which a maths approach cant. It is because it is the only planet to get exalted in a fixed sign. If you were to use Ra/ Ke's exaltations as Ta/ Sc, etc & not Ge/ Sg (which is used for some purposes), you would find the same phenomena for the nodes too. It is because in the fixed signs, the vargottama positions are bang in the centre (the 5th navamsa) of the 9 in the sign, so the 4 navamsas each side of the same, just dont cover the OPPOSITE sign, ie 7 signs away. This does not happen for the dual & cardinal signs where the vargottam positions are the 1st or the last (ie 9th) navamsa, & so one of the other navamsas in the sign will definitely cover the sign which is 7th away. If u still cant figure it out, all will be instantaneously clear to you if you just look at the diagrammatic approach I gave earlier. Actually I made 2 diagrams separately, including exaltation & deb nak-pads for easier memory-visualisation, & correcting an earlier typo. So am attaching that re-done page again. Even the maths method u used, can be made much simpler, if you just reflect for a sec on the maths method I had used, which is also mentioned in a couple of lines in the same diagram as attached. Further, I too used maths earlier, till Solai Guru pointed it out, & I used this memory diagram. In many parts of astrology, understanding the maths is not enough, as there are so many relationships one just cant keep deriving, & must memorise. One such example is natural friendhips/ neut/ enmities, etc of planets, where I STILL have not been able to memorise all of them completely All the best Nandan (See attached file: Nvm.doc) Attachment: Nvm.doc [not stored]
