Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Nandan, I think Samasapthaka refers to opposite placement of planets in the 7th sign only. The good or bad depends on many other factors. Regarding Darapada in 3/11 from AL, 3rd and 11th house are the Kama Trikonas, so the desire or passion is high for both partners as these are upachaya houses and therefore there is physical harmony between the partners. But, whereas with the partnership, the level of Kama (here it refers to material desire) will be high, in that case it creates a greediness between the partners, which will end up in disharmony. So, each matter is depend on the nature, karkatwa and Aadhipathaym of the planets/houses involved. Similarly, with Ketu. Guest guest
OM SRI GURAVE NAMAH Dear Solai, "Sama-Saptaka" means mutual seventh and refers to the placement of two 'otherwise friendly planets' in mutual one-seventh houses from each other. The placement of two diremalefics in such places is not considered 'sama-saptaka'. For this purpose the planets must have at least 'SAMA' relationship in the Graha Maitrya (five types of relationship) table. I will give two illustrations to explain my point. (1)The mutual placement of Saturn and Mars in the 1st and 7th houses causes Unmada Yoga or madness. Thus this position cannot be called Sama-saptaka as the planets are not only natural enemies, but also temporal enemies. What is worse, both are in Marana Karaka Sthana. (2) The Mutual placement of Jupiter and Mars in the first and seventh house axis resulted in a powerful Guru-Mangala Yoga for Bhagavan Sri Rama and He cannot be defeated in battle. This is taught by Krishna as 'among warriors, I am Rama' - Bhagavat Gita. Guest guest
Respected Sanjayji, Pranam. If Jup and Mars are not in 1st & 7th house axis but in some other house in 1-7 axis, say 6-12 or 2-8 axis or both are in same house then what happens? Will the Guru Mangala yoga will operate? And what will be the nature of the yoga? In my rectified chart, Mangala is in 5th aspected by Guru from 9th (badhaka sthana for Aqu asc.). Does this form any yoga? As instructed by you I once posted my chart in "Vedic Astrology" group with my analysis of rectification, for your review. Please clear my doubts. Regards, J.K. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Gurudev! Thanks for clarifying. In most astrological books, I saw this relationship as placement of any planet in the 7th from other. Infact your interpretation makes more sense. I happy to note that in my horoscope, I have Jupiter in 7th from Mer+Mar+Sun, however, from Jupiter I don't expect very good results as he is in the Marana karaka sthana being the lagna lord and also retrograde. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I have 2 charts with this combination. A) 18th April 1929, 7:35 am, +5:30 GMT 80E0 9N40, Aries lagna, Lagna lord mars in 3rd, saturn in 9th B) 12th September 1958, 10:40 am, +5:30 GMT. 81E03, 6N59, Scorpio lagna, lagna lord mars in 7th, saturn in 1st I would agree that this is true of one, but not of the other. The older person could be said to have really had Unmada Yog, but so far the other person has been a model of balance.
