I am wondering what the New Millenium's Prasna indicates. > > Last Jupiter saturn conjuction was in 1960-61, just 39-40 years back for > your information. > > Sudhir There was a Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn on Feb 18, 1961. However, that is not the latest. The one on July 23, 1981 in Virgo is the latest. Saturn-Jupiter conjunction occurs once in every 20 years roughly. We get 20 by solving the equation (x/2.5)+12=(x/1), i.e. x+30=2.5x, i.e. 1.5x=30, i.e. x=20. In 20 years, Saturn moves by 20/2.5 = 8 signs. Jupiter moves by 20/1 = 20 signs, i.e. 8 signs (20 modulo 12). However, I was talking about Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in *Aries* and its period of effect is 60 years. The 60-year cycle of Saturn-Jupiter is the basis of the world. Read an article on this in the November issue of "Jyotish-news" published by SJVC.
