Guest guest
Dear All, On the contrary - rather than the "Name and Fame" Elements, think of how much MU who is Equally into Jyotish and Western Astrology is taking the initiative by highlighting Jyotish more and more to his Western-Astrology colleagues - he is spreading the Word. I think that is his actual intention (and Parashara will no doubt thnk him), and if the "Name and Fame" element happens to be a BY-PRODUCT (i.e. Mu achieves critical acclaim) from that, SO WHAT? The Man will have done good Two ways - for Jyotish and for himself personally - every one's a winner. And before someone has a Go at me for the Subject Title, I don't Gamble, or don't even do the National Lottery - I'm dead agianst Gambling, as One Man's meat is definitely another Man's murder as far as Gambling is concerened. Very best regards - Sateesh. ========= - Manoj Pathak <manojpathak <mumin_bey Cc: <gjlist Tuesday, October 05, 1999 12:33 PM Re: The Need for New Blood in Astrology.....NOT. > Namaskar Mu'Min Bey and others on the list, > > I was watching this debate and was quite curious to know whether, astrology > is pursued for attaining name, fame and monetary gains or for Swanta > Sukhaya, Sarvjana Hitaya, i.e., for self contentment and helping others.
