Guest guest
A few notes retrograde effects in my chart: 1) Mars® 4 Sag, Sun 26 Gemini. Sun has already struck the desires which decrease and end (one way or the other) after Leo 4 - Gem 26 = ~38 years. Took a leave of absence from my job at 36 as the mental work had become too much of a strain. The next year had to gave up my computer career completely, going into a long period of undoing the mind with yoga. 2) Saturn in Libra (4th) was retrograde until the 7 July 1954, forward by the 12th. Tamasic planet is just coming out of sleeping state, but contented. Sun in 12th & Moon debilitated are not strong, so material side of MahaPurusha ineffective regardless of vargas. Seems to be true. 10th in D10 looked strong with Ex. Mars & Saturn, but the weak moon in rasi could not sustain it (Saturn) and the desire for it (Mars) ended at 38 due to troubles (Ketu). 3) Mercury® 17 Gemini, Sun 26 Gemini. Sun has already struck the desires so are decreasing. But Mercury does not move more then 30 degrees either side of the Sun so a question arises. Regardless, using the rules as stated, 3rd from Merc is 17 Leo at a distance of 51 degrees from the Sun. So around age 51 the desires should fade either by success or failure. Being in the 12th is not promising. The studies & investigations continue, so attachemnt is still in play and the rule appears to be working here. These rules remind me of some Nadi rules. Mars retrogrades due to attachment to the mother's troubles or ire (debilitated Moon). This was true, and in the work place it became trouble-shooting hardware/software problems. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATH Dear Bill, That is a brilliant post from you. There is a lot of truth in those basic principles of Manu which most modern day Jyotisha do not agree to. This will take time and well into the next Kreta Chakra when this Jyotisha knowledge will reveal itself..thanks to the efforts of people like yourself.
