Dear Sanjay,

More questions!

-

Sanjay Rath <srath

> Of what use is all the religiosity in the world if we cannot conquer

the

> indriyas.

What are "indriyas"?

> Secondly, yes Bhagavan Ram is Sri Ramachandra. I think you know this.

I wasn't sure, as I didn't realise we had any details of his Chart (Sun in

10th) - I would be

grateful if anyone has the rest of his Chart details too - as Goravani has

covered Caitanaya Mahaprabhu's chart, which I also found stunning.

Thanks for clarifying about Ramachandra, though.

> The name SATISH refers to Sri Satya Narayana Who is again Sri Ram. Hence

> your Ista, if I go purely by your name should be Sri Ram.

Ista? Is that determining one's devic / asura / human nature through their

Name?

> Thirdly, for Virgo Lagna the placement of the Sun in the 8th house

> represents a powerful Rajyoga.

Vipreet Raja Yoga?

> Fourthly, you are not like Karna by any chance. That Pandava was a

Great

> Surya Bhakta and the words you speak are quite in contrast. In fact, the

Sun

> in exaltation/debility in the first house or the seventh indicates being

> abandoned by parents and that is what happened to Karna.

Thanks for clarifying - I have indeed read Sun in 7th is bad for marriage

(and therefore other partnerships/alliances), for some reason - and indeed

Karna sided with the wrong allies.

> Fifthly, the exaltation of Mars in the fifth is not bad. A senior

> Officer in the defence Ministry has Mars in exaltation in the 5th for

Virgo

> Lagna. He is short tempered but a good person.

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement - my theory was merely that a

malefic Lord (of 3rd and 8th so Malefic, no?) was Exalted - hence empowered

to be Malefic to me.

But I also read that Mars exalted in 5th gives likelihood of Strong Male

Children - is that

right?

> And Finally, the 1st, 10th & 8th are Brahma Sthana and their lords

> contribute to longevity. You speak of opposite effects for the Sun in the

> 8th. Strange. I think a dutiful son is born with the Sun in the 8th house.

Sun is Karaka for Father, and since he is in 8th (Death), that is 12th

(Loss) to 9th (Father) - so although it may give a shining Personality to my

Father (Sun being Karaka for Father, and Sun is exalted in Aries) it also

means loss of my Father - who in my case is my Enemy, not literally loss of

Father, but close enough!

I am not helped by having Lord of 9th (Venus) also in 8th (again 12th to

9th) - So - my 9th Lord (Venus) is in 8th, and the Karaka for Father (Sun)

is also in 8th - and Sun and Venus are bitter enemies - I can tell you this

very radical combination hasn't been good for relationship with my Father,

nor for relationship with women (Venus is combust in Death House) - all

thoughts welcome here.

Sanjay - I am indeed dutiful to my Parents - but that doesn't mean my Father

is automatically dutiful as a Father to me - had my Sun been in 8th in

another sign, then Sun would not have been Lord of 12th (Loss) - so when you

mention Sun in 8th is good, it varies from Lagna to Lagna - although I agree

with you that the Vipreet Yoga Nature of my combination is somewhat Powerful

indeed.

>As regards the anger or atrocities by

> others, 8th Lord Mars exalted in the 5th shows this..breaking an idol of

the

> Lord in the past birth I think.

Aha - even up until recently, I angrily have thrown photos of our Gods

around, and could not stand looking at them - I also could not eat Prasad,

as it seemed like Poison to my Lips. But I knew not why - so you have

explained here with Mars info. - thanks, Sanjay.

So I seem to have offended 2 Groups in Past Life(s) - God with (as you

revealed to me just now) Mars exalted in 5th being 8th Lord - and also Guru

(Jupiter debilitated in 5th). In fact, I have always quarelled with

Teachers and Religious places - I couldn't tolerate either of these

Authorities - so that is obviously Karmic, and is showing up in my Chart

Planet Positions, yes?

My Rasi is left intact below for reference of the Curious.

David Frawley, in his book-Astrology of the Seers-gives Bhagwan Rama's

chart:

Ascendant: Cancer with Jupiter and Moon

2nd House: Leo

3rd House: Virgo

4th House: Libra with Saturn

5th House: Scorpio

6th House: Sagittarrius with Rahu

7th House: Capricorn with Mars

8th House: Aquarius

9th House: Pisces with Venus

10th House: Aries with Sun

11th House: Taurus with Mercury

12th House: Gemini with Ketu

He does add that it is considered by some as an imaginary chart, and then

goes on to say that it does agree with the character and life of Lord Rama.

Zoltan and Sanjay,

Would not Saturn in the ninth (even in a friendly sign) cause separation

from father and from religious traditions. I have noticed more than a few

times that Saturn in the ninth can make one dislike idols. IN regards to the

relationship with your father, let us also not overlook the aspect of Mars

on the Sun in your chart. The bad allegiances also seem to me to come from

MErcury retrograde in Jupiter's sign.

Finally, the dislike of idols (or disgust with religious icons) would in my

opinion, be partially caused by Ketu's currrent transit placement between

Mars and Jupiter. Mars is a malefic, anger producing planet, Ketu is

anti-iconic (very critical and not interested in images) and it is

afflicting Jupiter the planet of tradition, which is debilitated in the

natal chart. You have a whole slew of anti-traditional elements in your

chart currently!

Just my humble opinion.

Namaste.

JAYA JAYA SRI JAGANNATHA

Dear Satish,

1. Indriya is derived from the word Indra meaning King or Controller. These

are our five (or Six) senses. Our entire perception of this world is on the

basis of these Indriyas or senses and they guide our wisdom.

2. Bhagawan Sri Ram:

Cancer Lagna with the Moon & Jupiter in it. Saturn exalted in the 4th house

in Libra (Retrograde). Rahu in the sixth in debility in Sagittarius, Mars

exalted in 7th, Venus exalted in 9th in Pisces, Sun exalted in the tenth,

Mercury in the 11th and Ketu in the 12th house. Arudha Lagna & Upapada in

Aries. For more details and perfect calculations people like Dr Raman & I

depend on the programmers.

3. No, not really Vipareeta Rajyoga although the condition fulfills (12th

Lord in the 8th house). Here the 12th Lord is very strong and for Vipareeta

Rajyoga, the lord should be weak. I think it is Vimala/Harsha Yoga or

another such name. Please check. This combination is quoted in Bhavartha

Ratnakara of Sri Ramanujacharya.

4. About Exalted Mars..Yes. Your expectations are very correct, but should

you not see the Saptamsa (D-7). After all so many people would be born in

those 2 hours that the Virgo lagna rises. Will all have the same children?

If not, then we should see the D-7 for more details. I have explained this

in my books. I hope you benefit from this divine knowledge.

Sanjay Rath

Dear Gary Gomes,

I am new to this list (I was only reading through Goravani's GJ List

until today). - hence I hadn't seen your superb reply on my chart.

I am printing this off and keeping it - thank you very much again for

your so careful analysis of me.

**Dear Sanjay - sincerest apologies for replying to Gary on your

website, but I don't have his e-mail address to reply to, and apologies

to Das Goravani if this goes public to Goravani's list too.

Very best regards - Sateesh.
