Guest guest
Dear YND, HARE KRISHNA What is opposition? They are in Sama-Saptaka...Mutual friendly seventh houses. Thus these evil fellows are actually co-operating with each other. FOR WHAT PURPOSE...Definitely not good. Planets in utual Kendra are called Paraspara Yogakaraka...mutual co-workers and friends. Rahu & Ketu another deadly duo have joined this pair in the evil work and now what happened when all four got together for some scheme?...KOSOVO CRISIS..WAR..DEATH. Who stopped the War..Brihaspati when He entered this quadrant and refused to co-operate with these evil fellows. Thank Jupiter for this peace..JAYA SURAGURU BRIHASPATI!! Hare Krishna Sanjay Rath - YND Sanjay Rath Tuesday, August 10, 1999 12:23 PM Re: Gandanta Lagna - help needed Dear Gurudev, Hare Krishna. Jaya Jagannath! JAYA JAGANNATHADear Yasomati Nandana, Tat Twam Asi. Try to see Jagannath in the idol of Shiva. If you can, then ONLY are you fit to meet Him after this bodily sojorn in this planet. Do not allow Maya to delude you. In every form see Him only and worship the form with as much love and affection as you would have for Him. Do not worry about this world. It just does not matter. What matters is He. If the remedial measures have been mentioned in the most holy Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra, it must be His wish. After all Parasara Muni was the father (Dharma) of Srijukta Vedavyada Deva. Hence, in a way because of Dharma of Vyasadeva is Krishna, then Parasara is also Krishna. Thank you very much. The doubts are gone. You are my reall well-wisher. I hope that one day I may actually become a maha-bhagavata devotee even though I am completly unqualified. By the mercy of Krishna, Spiritual Masters and the Vaisnavas everything is possible. How can I serve you? As regards the elaborate rituals, these are for the normal house holders. You should perform only as per your means. My comments are as below: Now that the main point is clear I have got a number of technical questions - just 'cause I've never dealt with such sort of situations - they are not so common even for our local ISKCON subculture. So forgive me if some of the questions look too foolish or hair-splitting. 1) Regarding the Pushan Mantras. There are two of them. What to do with them? How many times should they be chanted? In which order? Loudly or mentally? On what basis (one time, daily or what)? Should only I chant them or my wife also - the same on what basis? 2) Regarding the remedial measures given by Sri Parasara. Should the puja be done to the Naksatra deity? (or in BPHS it is said to do it to the Lagna lord?). Then how to make the Deity - if it for Pushan then can I simply take a picture of Lord Shiva? SRath:Of course. This is excellent and very much advisable. However, 25% of the Mantra that you have Japa should be given as Aahuti with Ghee into the Fire with the Wood. Use Pipal wood for best results. 3) What should be the name of the Fire? 4) So should it look like this: putting a stick into ghee, then offering it to the fire while chanting mentally the mantra? 5) How many times will it come to? 6) Should the mantra be to Pushan or to the Lagna lord? 7) If to Pushan then which of the two you gave? Should there be "svaha" instead of "namah"? 8) Pipal wood I guess I cannot get even in the Botanical garden here. I hope I can just use any wood... 9) Is it essencial that I give GOLD in charity - the specific dravya - or just money will be o'key? 10) Is it necessary for the child to be present during the yajna/puja? As I live in an appartment house I will have to go to our small center outside Moscow to do it and it will take quite some efforts to take the baby there? 11) If you feel I need the answer to this question - not related to the above. When some time ago I was asking the GJlist about the 8th lord in the 9th I meant the chart of my son. Can you help me understand what to expect from debilitated Saturn in the 2nd and 9th lord Mars in the 8th in opposition with it? I was also wondering because I generally find myself saving Narottam from all kinds of little accidents rather then causing them.
