Jaya JagannathDear Prakashji,

Chalit Chakra is also called Bhava chakra, but the former term seems to be

more appropriate as Bhava Chart can also be misunderstood as the chart from

Bhava Lagna. There are some methods of seeing the Bhava. These are :

a) 15 deg Plus/Minus Asc. Where every house cusp is the same as Lagna degree.

b) 30 deg Plus Asc. Here the house cusps are the same as Lagna.

c) Sign is a house irrespective of the ascendant degree. (Generally called the Rasi Chart).

d). The method of house divisions on the basis of equally dividing the arc

between the MC and Lagna into the two parts for 12 & 11 houses and one part for

tenth and Lagna.

You can try all these and will only move in circles. Prof. P S Shastri has

deliberated in length on this in the AM and his conclusion was that the Rasi

Chart is the best to use. My recommendation is also the same, except that you

can use (a) above as given by Parasara.

Best Regards,Sanjay Rath

Chalita Chakra same as Bhava?

Dasji,

OM!

I need some help here! I have come across the term Chalita Chakra chart and

according to the author this is also called Bhava chart in South India. GJ has

three different kinds of Bhava charts! (variety is the spice of life! Vive la

difference!) Could you or anyone else please tell me if Chalita Chakra is the

same as:

Sripati, Equal, Placidus, or Neither – something else!

In anticipation, thank you very much for your help!

OM!

Prakash
