Even in Greek mythology, the thunderbolt, which was the first source of electricity was associated with Zeus, the deity of Jupiter. Most modern commentators say that this is an attribute of Mars and can also be seen as Mars is the weapon of the Gods. In the Bhagavat Gita Sri Krishna teaches, "Among the weapons I am Vajra" which makes me think that Mars signifies the thunderbolt or electricity, but its use is controlled by Jupiter. (B) The primary source of all matter etc is the Sun, and this will only complicate matters as the primary source of all forms itself is God. Usage is important. Natural Gas, when harnessed as a fuel is ruled by Mars (Aangaraka: the cause of Fire). Since it is essentially Vayu Tatwa, then the planet controlling this form is Mercury, and since it comes from deep inside the earth, the wells (Scorpio) and Saturn also play their role.
