Bonus Check , Hora Lagna & Argalas

When you said you were trying to explain a bonus check at work, I assumed that

it might've happened recently. I checked your 1999-2000 annual chart and the

last few days seemed like a good candidate, because annual Patyayini and

VarshaVimsottari dasas of Moon are running now and because Moon owns 2nd from

*horalagna* (lagna important for money matters) in the dasamsa (D-10) of your

1999-2000 Tajaka annual chart. Pratyantardasa and Sookshma dasa of natal

Vimsottari also made sense.

 

So I just assumed that the event happened recently and explained the event under

that assumption. I thought I had a foot in my mouth when you said you actually

got bonus in early March. Thank you for the update now that you had some

additional income (1st quarter commission) at the time I mentioned also!

 

Now, I went back and checked March 4-9, the time when you got bonus. It comes

under 1998-99 annual chart. In the D-10 of that chart, 2nd and 11th from HL

(horalagna) are owned by Jupiter and Mercury. You were running Mercury antardasa

in Jupiter dasa (as per annual Patyayini dasa) during March 4-7, 99! Baesd on

natal Vimsottari, you were running Rahu-Ketu-Ketu-Ketu then (using my ayanamsa

and 360d years). Ketu occupies own sign (Scorpio), in the 2nd from HL in your

natal D-10.

 

Being the 3rd lord in 3rd from Virgo lagna in your D-10, Ketu may bring a lot of

technical communication and technical writing in your career. Being the 2nd lord

in 2nd from horalagna in your D-10, he may bring a lot of unexpected additional

money in your career. Like this, we can analyze the same divisional chart w.r.t.

various lagnas prescribed by Parasara (lagna, bhava lagna, hora lagna, ghati

lagna, varnada lagna, arudha lagna, karaka lagna etc). Each has a specific

purpose.

Before astrology is accepted as a mainstream science, we have a lot of work to

do.

 

I see many astrologers lamenting that the scientific community disapproves

astrology. What these astrologers don't realize is that the scientific community

is right on this one! They have a valid reason for disapproving astrology.

 

Our goal should not be convincing someone else about astrology. It should be

first convincing *ourselves* about what we do. Are we sure we understand

Parasara correctly? Are our methods *consistently* giving results that are *way

above* statistical odds?

 

Once astrology, as we understand, becomes a mature and reliable subject,

acceptance by scientific community will come *automatically*!

 

Our main problem is that a lot of knowledge has either been lost or distorted.

Once we succeed in understanding Parasara correctly, I have no doubt that

astrology will become a very systematic probabilistic science. Astrology will

then be taught in universities like computer science. I am very hopeful that I

will see it in this lifetime....
