Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Goravani' I think the answer lies in the understanding of the "BHU MANDALA" as the "BHA CKHAKRA" is based on the "BHU MANDALA". I was delighted to see a video prepared by bhakta's at ISKCON where the SaptaDhama have been correctly understood and explained with a fantastic model/ pictures. The Yojana has been taken as about 8.5 Miles and this shows a very accurate calculation of the earth-Sun distance at the time of the writing of the Bhagavatam! Compare this to the knowledge of Astronomy in the world till the 19th Century. What exactly is "Meru" the hypothetical golden mountain rising from the poles to the pole star? What does a SaptaDhama exactly mean? When we have the answers to these questions, and when we realise that the sun-light is effective till the last Dhama caused by the revolution of Saturn, and then the darkness begins, it will be clear as to why this knowledge of Jyotisha "Light of the Sun" is restricted till Saturn. I think Sri Dina-Natha Das "Dina-natha (das) SNS (Delhi - IN) " <Dina-natha.SNS can provide the video.
