Guest guest
Dear Alfonso, Some time back I had requested you to explain why the incident occured in Littleton instead of Denver? Perhaps, using that Solar ingress method. I presume you have nothing to say as the charts are the same and all the arguments that you may have for Littleton also hold good for Denver. You are not the first astrologer to be confronted with this dilemma. Very few Vedic astrologers also have the guts to touch such areas..Yes, K N Rao, Narasimha and a few others have done a good job here. My view is that the basic approach is wrong. I have also seen many vedic astrologers use the Varshapravesh chart for the nations, but is only for the fortune of the nations. In Orissa, we use the tithi pravesh chart for Political Astrology. But, this Littleton episode is another cup of tea and to use solar ingress itself is faulty. You can never predict with such a tool as it fails to differentiate between two cities/towns that are close by. There is no SHORTCUT. The correct path has been shown by the most illustrious Varahamihira in his monumental work " Brihat Samhita". The areas of a map, depending on various factors have to be classified into the signs and planets rulership. For example, as mentioned in another post on Digbala, the India is ruled by the sign Virgo and Delhi by Pisces and the planet Jupiter. Perhaps your great contribution to Jyotish could be this effort of listing the areas in your Country or the World.
