Jaya Jagannath Dear Chris & all Jyotisha, There is a vital link between the Decimal system, the navagraha & Lagna (10 Variables of Vedic Jyotish), Vedic Numerology and the DasAvatar (10 Karmic forms of Lord Mahavishnu for the Vaishnava) or the Das Mahavidya (The ten forms of ultimate knowledge from the Divine mother) or the Das Guru (Ten Guru's of the Sikhs). This is the paradigm of Vedic Jyotish. To attempt to alter it will amount to changing the basic structure. While I do not disagree with the effect of the outer planets, the point is that they cannot be fitted into the present paradigm without a major surgery that will result in complete and total distortion of the paradigm. It will no longer be vedic Jyotish.
