Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Siddharth , How did you get the 4th and 8th as houses of Moksh? The 12th is the house concerned with this and the Upapada decides whether a person shall marry or shall remain a bachelor. This control over sex is important for raising the Kundalini shakti at the base of the spine. Thus, there is a link between the 12th and the option of either Ketu(Moksh) or Venus(Marriage) dominating out here. Being in trines to the 12th, the 4th and 8th only support the 12th house and hence are collectively called the Moksh Trikona. Sex is seen from the 7th house and not the 12th..this is clear. So, simply because the 12th shows the bed, it does not rule the sexual activity. The sign for re-birth is the 7th house which is Shastastaka (6/8 i.e mutual enmity) with the 12th house ruling Moksha. Now, WHAT is MOKSHA? It is NOT emancipation from this Physical body/ Physical activity of the body. That is SLEEPING and is seen in the 12th House from the LAGNA. It is NOT emancipation from conscious mental activity. That is MEDITATION or Coma etc. and is seen from the 12th house from the MOON. IT IS THE EMANCIPATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL SOUL FROM INDEPENDANT EXISTANCE..THE END OF AHAMKARA. This is seen from the 12th house from the CHARA ATMAKARAKA and that too in the NAVAMSA. That is why MOKSHA is seen in the 12th house from the Karakamsa. That is what Maharishi Jaimini and Parasara have advised. If the Sun is in the 12th from Karakamsa, the native should be advised to worship SHIVA. Lord Shiva is the form of PARAMATMA for his emancipation and becomes the guiding DEITY or ISTA DEVATA for the chart. Similarly, the Moon so placed shows worship of the Divine Mother or Gouri...and so on. The details can be had from my translation of MAHARISHI JAIMINI'S UPADESA SUTRA. If no planets are placed, then see aspects (as per Rasi dristi). If none aspect, then consider the lord of the 12th from Karakamsa. Donations of Money etc are activities that should be seen from the 12th from the ARUDHA LAGNA. I hope I have clarified the different uses of the 12th house from the different Lagna/Moon/Karakamsa/Arudha Lagna. Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Siddhartha, You have still not answered my question. Who wrote this book? Is it a translation from a classic? Have you read any standard texts? Dharma Bhava is the Ninth house and the Dharma Trikona are the 1st, 5th and 9th houses.... Please read some standard text at least..at least one standard text on Jyotish. Say BPHS or Jataka Parijatha etc. With Regards, Sanjay Rath ---------------- > Hi Sanjay > > I think you should read the chapter on Bhavas in LIGHT ON LIFE. > > There are four thing: > DHARMA= 1st, 5th and 9th houses. > KARMA=10, 2 and 6 > KAMA=11, 7 and 3 > MOKSH=12, 8 and 4 > > >Dear Siddharth , > > How did you get the 4th and 8th as houses of Moksh? Guest guest
Dear Sanjay ji 12th from atmakarka is the house for moksha. Now the placement/aspect on this house determines next birth/moksha. Which planets are considered favourable for such results. It is often seen that, ketu in 12th from lagna also indicates detachment. Is it then only detachment from physical/material things and in turn does not result into favourable positioning for moksha. You stated- 12th from Arudha lagna to be seen for charities. what are the planets' indications for charities. If guru in 12th then what types of charities are indicated and so for rahu. Now Rahu is materialistic planet and is more keen in intake- then Can rahu in 12th from Arudha Lagna indicate charities ? regards/Prafulla Gang - SRath <SRath Siddhartha Maheshwary <sidd__m Cc: GJList <gjlist; SJVC <sjvc > Friday, April 09, 1999 8:02 PM [sjvc] Re: 12th house from Lag/AL/AK/Moon > Now, WHAT is MOKSHA?
