Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Mahaprabhu Dear Richard, I am of the view that Jupiter, although the giant of the solar system, is but a spec in the sky and this method of assuming that it is in the next sign is not correct. It is varotaama in Sagittarius and will surely give the results of being in Sagittarius. Sometimes, we feel otherwise as the question of Ayanamsa comes in. Even in the Bhava Chakra, only the houses are considered and not the signs. Hence, it is not correct to view Jupiter in Capricorn. Being close to the cusp of the sign does not render the planet weak unless it is in Gandanta (Last navamsa of Watery signs and first Navamsa of Movable signs). Then the results will be different, but weakness cannot be ascribed. For example in one chart, the Sun was in the first degree of Aries. Thus, the sun was exalted in Rasi and Navamsa chart, but was in Gandanta. There was a Sun dasa balance of a year or so at birth and I opined that there was danger to his life at birth. The baby had broken a limb at the time of birth and had to pass through a lot of suffering for the first few months in Sun-Ketu period. Sun-venus provided relief. With Regards, Sanjay Rath ---------------- Dear Friends, Would it be correct to interpret a Jupiter placement of 29 degrees 58 minutes Sag. as more of a Cap. placement because of the effect of being so close to the cusp and the fact that Jupiters fallen degree is so close at 5 degrees Cap.?
