Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Manpreet, The sixth is the house of enemies and it is up to the person whether to accept enmity or not. He always has the option to turn the face and walk away. However, whether a person shall have enemies or not is the decision of the almighty. Thus, the creation of enemies is a matter of fate while the acceptance of the same is under the control of the person. Do you remember the story of the saint and the scorpion? During a flood, a scorpion was drowning and a saint who was offering his prayers saw it struggling and gently lifted it in his palm to put it in safe land. The scorpion bit him and his hand shook and the scorpion fell into the water. he again repeated his task and again this happened. By then a passerby was standing and wondering at the wisdom of the saint. On query, the saint replied, that to save the scorpion from harm is his dharma, but the scorpion does not know that this is my nature and thinks that i intend to harm it, hence it attacks and stings... Thus, it is only darkness and ignorance that makes one man think that another is his enemy. Krishna is very clear in the Gita..to attain Him (Moksha) the person must consider everything in this world as a friend. The sixth is an Upachaya and exalted benefics in this house, especially from Arudha lagna, make a saint for he does not use PARAKRAMA BALA. Instead, he uses wisdom. In the charts of Srila prabhupada and Swami vivekananda, we find both Venus and Mercury in the sixth from Arudha lagna. for more details, visit my webpage and see the "research link..Sixth from AL". You wrote:- Namshkar Sanjay ji - My trip here in US got postponed for a week and so unfortunately I won't be able to make it by 25th March. I guess I'll miss the event. Meanwhile I had a doubt - it been there for a long time but somehow always used to forget to ask. The Upachayas (houses 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th) are what the person himself/herself controls. But at the same time as per TANO TANA DAND HARA 6th house and 11th houses are those which Almighty uses to punish the people for their PAP KARMA. Thus the 6th and 11th are not controled by the person himself/herself. Clearly there is some missing link in my understanding. Can you please help me understand.
