Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Mahaprabhu Om Goneshaya Namah Dear Sanjay, My Gurupranams first! I am coming on this email add for the first time and that too with a kind of clarification/understanding of the class held on Prashna. I wish to say that this is how I have understood Prashna and would like to be corrected wherever I am wrong. Step 1 : Make the prashna chart Step 2 : Find the Arudha Lagna - The prashna Arudha indicates the area of the problem. Step 3 : Ask the person concerned a number between 0 - 108. Step 4 : Divide this number by 12 (the 12 is for signs - is it) - the Quotient + 1 indicates the planet of influence; and the remainder indicates the rasi of influence i.e., where the question's influence is from - am I right? Now the remainder is to be counted from the Prashna Lagna, or Prashna Arudha or from Aries (the 1st house). I think it is to be counted from the Prashna lagna. Please correct me if I am wrong. Step 5 : Now divide the same number by 9 (to fix the Navamsa). Step 6 : The quotient + 1 will indicate the prashna rasi ( to be counted from Aries); and the remainder is to be counted from the chara rasi in the trines to the prashna rasi which will indicate the Navamsa placement of the planet of influence. Is it right? Please correct me if I am wrong, as I have to understand the basics right. Now, the doubts I have is (1) what if a person chooses a number which is not divisible by 12 (step No.4) i.e., say 0 to 11; and (2) what if the chosen number is not divisible by 9 (step 5) i.e., says 0 to 8. In such an event, how do you work out the quotient and the remainder. Please guide me.
