Nice point. It goes on to show that the planets in the last degree

of a sign are "NOT WEAK". While the Moon in the first degree does bring the

focus on family, but the second lord (Family Affairs) Jupiter is in the

tenth house (Fame) and is the Atmakaraka..Strongest planet showing that you

will be strongly influenced by family matters and that you will belong to a

famous family.

the last degree of Saggitarius, it will not profit very much

I have a planet in the last degree of a sign......... (I am a "Tropical"

astrologer, but I do love learning about Jyotish........)

 

In my chart I have Jupiter in the last degree of Leo (Jyotish).in my 10th

house.... it is aspected by the Sun and the Moon...from the 4th house, (Sun

and Moon are Raga if I am correct) Scorpio ascends at 13 degrees... waning

Moon, 1 degree of Aquarius........Sun at 28 degrees...........

 

My family heritage is very strong in my hometown ..... founding father's

type

of thing... I have a long family tree that goes back to Alfred the Great of

England....(My Great Uncle John Collins founded Miami Beach).....I grew up

outside of Philadelphia and came from a "Quaker" family, it is interesting

to

me to note that with my Sun and Moon in Aquarius the sign of friendship

Quaker

is just a nickname for our religion, which is actually called the Society Of

Friends......Anyway to get back to the point.....when I grew up everyone in

the area knew my family, and me because of that..... my Grandfather was one

of

the few employers in the area during the depression......people would come

from miles just to earn what money they could working on his farm......he

also

had a flower shop and we raised flowers........ again, well known throughout

the area as it was the only one in the town for years.......etc.........

 

However, it was the end of an era......the family has moved all over the

country now and only a few of us even live in the same state........ only

the

"Old Families" even remember who we are, or even the history of our

family....... the malls and super highways have taken over....the New Jersey

Turnpike and then Interstate 295 actually were built through the very center

of our 300 acre farm, taking away all the farm buildings and the family

home,

everything but one little house, it was a large multifamily farm with

several

workers homes as well as barns, storage buildings and a huge greenhouse, as

well as the one little house, which was my own family's house, this by the

way

was my Mother's side of the family.... ...... I have always believed that

this

related to my Jupiter's condition........it is also Retrograde by the

way.......

 

Interestingly I have now moved to Florida, in the Daytona Beach area........

and here my father's family has long roots for this area........not as long,

and not well known about except with the "Old Families" of the area.

 

As for me personally, I have never received a formal higher education. I

tend

to shy away from anything like a "career", although I am a certified

appraiser

and could do much more with that then I do. I tend to care more about my

freedom and personal interests....such as being a perpetual student of

astrology and synchronicity.

 

Also people tend to put me on pedestals......which I do not deserve. I am

not

being humble here. They just see the best in me and magnify it.
