Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Zoran, But we cannot ignore Margarita's point. The Vimsottari lordship of a star is Vital to its affairs. For example, there is a specific dictum thatif the lord of the tenth house and the Sun have a common Nakshetra lord, then its dasa (Vimsottari) shall give Rajyoga of the high order. The strength of this nakshetra lord shall determine the level of the Rajyoga. (Jataka Parijatha I think). This (Vimsottari) Nakshetra Lord becomes the Jeeva for the bhava. We must also understand that there is a very logical reason behind giving these nakshetra lordships. For example (A), the deity of Aslesha is Rahu and it is considered a very inauspicious star for any spiritual activity. The nakshetra lordship of Mercury shows the state of mind that is best suited for this star vibration. i.e. Mercury or Vishnu's Name should be in the mind of the person if he wishes to get out of the evil effects of the star. Another example (B) the Nakshetra Revati has Pushan "The Knowledgable or wise one as its Lord" and the best state for the mind while approaching the wise one is as a student (Mercury) the lord of the constellation (Vimsottari). We could go on, but the point is that the Vimsottari is the Queen of the Dasa's and its lordship is vital in the chart. However, we cannot overstretch its importance as has been done for the KP system. Hare Krishna, Sanjay Rath ---------------- Dear Margarita, Yes that is one of the main streams in jyotish, nakshatra lords.Jyotish is a sideral systems, and nakshatras are mentioned in oldest vedic texts.Though some jyotishis think that nakshatra lords are modern invention, and only nakshatra deities count,I think that nakshatra lord reveals even more specified results than dispositor. For example, look at the mars in 10.house in aries. It will have an influence on one's proffesion.Suppose there are two persons with the same mars in aries. One is in mool, another is in poorvshadh nakshatra. In the first case, nakshatra lord will be ketu,in the second, venus. So the professions of these people concerned will be completely different. To cut it short, Nakshatra lord's placement is a kind of subtle dispositor, and it relocates the planets influence. It is enevitable in judgment.Satyacharya says that we should take into account dispositor, nakshatra lord and navamsh lord.Apart from nakshatra lord, even more subtle kind of dispositor is navamsh lord, that can be judged in completely the same manner. Dear Sanjay, Yes,we completely agree.I said that some pundits disagreed on that, but I was taught that it is not so.That dictum is true, and in my own case, lord of 10.mercury and lord of 9.sun are in shravan nakshatra, lorded by Moon, which is placed in 8.house in own sign Cancer.I passed through moon antardash and had very, very good effects.I wanted to say that in many jyotish texts, one can find much importance given to navamsh lord placement, which I found to be true. For example.if the lord of the 10.house is placed in sun's navamsh(leo),and sun is well placed in 10.house in rashi chart, than it can give raj yoga effects, too. It is undisputable matter, that lords of nakshatra are highly significant in judgement.
