Dear Al,

The God of war is Mars. Association or the aspect of Mars on the

second house from either Lagna, Pada Lagna, Amsa Lagna or Mercury does show

one inclined to arguments. If in trines to the Lagna or Spl.Ascendants, this

is an innate nature.

You will observe that I do not have Mars in trines to either lagna,

Amsa Lagna or pada Lagna, but Mars does aspect the Lagna (Pisces), Amsa

Lagna Scorpio by being in the seventh house from them and also the Pada

Lagna (Sagittarius) by being in the tenth from it. Thus, I am the last

person to shy away from any debate or battle! Mars aspects the second from

Lagna , its own sign Aries and is also in the second from Mercury. Thus,

this will be in the form of debates (arguments). With the powerful DevaGuru

Jupiter in the Lagna and the Shanti Mantra's of Maha Vishnu everyday, this

has tempered down considerably, but not died out. Normally, this rises only

when provoked and can be very bad (My wife says so and do so many others).

I never realised my staying power until in Saturn Dasa Rahu

Antardasa I got into a terrible battle with one of my seniors on the issue

of corruption and he did not allow me to write any astrological article for

any magazine! His reason was so stupid that I just saw RED. The battle went

on and as the days passed, he used his terrible machivellian tactics to

outmaneover me in every point, but I took up the matter at the highest level

of Govt. single handedly. The battle raged for three years until one fine

day they had to agree that JYOTISH IS A PART OF THE TRADITION OF INDIA AND

IS A PART OF OUR CULTURE AND THAT I CAN WRITE ASTROLOGY RELATED ARTICLES AND

LETTERS ETC. IN ANY PUBLIC FORUM!!! This happened as soon as Jupiter

antardasa started.

Strange are the ways of Our Lord. Had that not happened, perhaps I

would never have really learnt the effectiveness of Sri Bagalamukhi Tantra.

During those difficult days I always remembered the advise of my father "A

battle is never lost until it is fought and not won" (Mars is my ninth

Lord).

I may have caused a lot of hurt in my letters. Sorry for that. This

is the one single major flaw that has kept me from renunciation..Mars. I

believe that this will be neutralised when Ketu Dasa starts after 16 more

years and then....

I was wondering if any of you learned folks could tell how to

look at a chart and decipher such behavior. Maybe Mars and Venus

play a role in it, but I am not so clear as to how, if at all.

Maybe a strong Mars' aspect/placement on/in 2nd house?
