Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATH Dear Paul, Perhaps you have missed my post to this list on this subject. My point was that Budha should be examined in the charts of male homosexuals. The rule of Parasara is for Stri Jataka (Female Charts) only. Your seventh lord is conjunct Mercury showing that the desire for sex shall be with Mercury (Eunuch Planet) and the conjunction of the Moon & Rahu in the seventh shows that this would have caused a lot of mental anxiety in your adolescent days. Hare Krishna, Sanjay Rath -----------------> You Wrote:- Namaste all, Here are some details of a chart of another gay person (me). I don't want to give all details, but will give points that may be relevant (7th lord, connections between Shukra and Shani, Budha, Rahu, etc.) Lagna is Karka (Cancer). Ketu is in lagna. The 1st lord, Chandra, and Rahu are in the 7th bhava. 7th lord Shani is in 4th bhava, with Budha. Shani is moderately combust (Surya is near the end of Kanya). Shani is not retrograde. Shani's dispositor, Shukra, is neecha in Kanya (3rd bhava). Therefore Shukra and Budha are in a parivartana yoga. There are two (or maybe more) neechabanga yogas for Shukra besides the exchange with Budha: Shukra's dispositor Budha is in a kendra from lagna and also from Chandra. Of course views differ on what constitutes a neechabanga yoga. Note that Shukra does not aspect Shani and Shani does not aspect Shukra. (see verse 13 of Chapter 20 of Parashara, which would apply to about one-third of all people depending on whether certain words are translated as "or" or "and".) Mangal does not aspect Shukra and Shukra does not aspect Mangal. Guru is retrograde in the 12th bhava, aspecting 7th lord Shani. Guru is the only retrograde planet in the chart. In Navamsha, Shukra is with Rahu in the 8th house (Kumbha, from which you can deduce that navamsha lagna is Karka, same as in the rashi chart). In Navamsha, Shukra is not aspected by Shani and Shani is not aspected by Shani (although Shani is the dispositor of Shukra), unless you count partial aspects. In Navamsha, the 7th lord Shani is in the 5th bhava with Mangal. Mangal aspects Shukra and Rahu. Someone posted an email in which the author thought that a case of homosexuality was caused by childhood sexual abuse. There is no scientific evidence that homosexuality is pathological. It has been removed by the American Psychiatric Association from their list of mental illnesses. I know of males who have been sexually abused by other males when in childhood and did not become gay. Someone else posted an email that gave me the impression that the author equated homosexuality with being sexually active. According to one study, approximately one-sixth of adult homosexual males are not sexually active. The word refers to sexual attraction, not expression. I don't mean to criticize anyone for their views, I am only trying to inform. I would caution anyone against drawing conclusions from only the rashi chart. I know (or knew) two people born about 22 hours apart who have identical rashi charts. Their Chandras are even in the same Nakshatra. (Of course in one chart, Chandra is in the first pada, and in the other chart Chandra is in the fourth pada.) They led quite different lives. One went to medical school, did a residency in radiology, left medicine, opened up some food shops in malls, and died of AIDS some years back. The other has been a professional fund raiser and a writer and is HIV-negative. ------ eGroup home: http://www.eGroups.com/list/sjvc Free Web-based e-mail groups by eGroups.com
