Guest guest
Namaste Sabine, Juliana and all: The source of my conjecture comes from a story of a King Chitraketu during the vedic times. According to the Shrimad Bhagavatam, he had a million wives. However, he was only able to have one child from one of these wives. Since the king was favoring the mother and doting on the child, the other wives conspired to poison the child. The child died. Luckily for the king, there was a sage who was able to revive the child from death. Further, this king was riding on his celestial airplane (a la Air Force One!) one day and witnessed Shiva and Parvati in the midst of brahmins. He noticed that Parvati was sitting on Shiva's lap (implying that they were doing more than what was stated). As such, King Chitraketu criticized Parvati for her behaviour in front of the holy brahmins. Shiva did not say anything. However, Parvati was embarrassed and angered by the king's comments. Therefore, she cursed him for being disrespectful. The curse, it turned out, was for the king, after his death, to return in this life as Vritrasura, a terrible and horrifying gigantic monster, who would fight King Indra. Although the giant would be beheaded and die, Vritrasura would go to heaven. Given the context of this story, I am attempting to see what astrological significance can be derived from this narrative. Thus, I've requested you to research the effects of Ketu in the nakshatra of Chitra. It is very likely that there may be other astrological messages in this story that I have not accounted for.
