Guest guest
Dear Friends, For those who are not aware of culture in India. Today is the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Raksha means 'Protection' and bandhan means a 'knot'. A string or a decorated string is tied on wrists of brothers by their sisters, today. The brothers vow to protect and help their sisters through all difficulties and sisters pray for their brothers' well being. A one of its kind of festival, it is slowly being celebrated by people of all faiths in India. Festivals like these should spread to all parts of the world so that bonhomie among family members and in society increases. I have five Rakhis (ceremonial threads) tied to my wrists. More are still to come before sunset. HAPPY RAKSHABANDHAN TO ALL Ashutosh
