Capricorn is that it opposed Saturn within two degrees, and closely conjoined

Mercury. This points to a disruption of information, or perhaps a pernicious

of malefic energy to distort information. Not that there isn't already enough

of that going on these days, but it may play a larger role in all of our lives

this month. I note that since the Winter Olympics are set for Italy this

month, we may have more than our fair share of scandal and intrigue.The New

Moon of February 27th in Aquarius, by contrast, removes the Saturn influence

and replaces it with Uranus -- the planet of shock and change. Given that Mars

is squaring this New Moon while receiving Ketu's destabilizing aspect, there may

be a strong desire for changing the status quo in many facets of life through

March. ARIES (Apr 13 - May 13) Mars finally moves out of Aries on the 5th

so there may be a welcome lessening of intensity in your life. The Taurean

influence will likely push you more towards stopping and smelling the flowers.

And as Mars transits Krittika for most of February, expect to

draw a crowd wherever you go. You will be blessed with more vision and

leadership abilities now, so your words will carry considerable influence. On

the 19th, be careful of conflict with superiors.TAURUS (May 14 - Jun 14)

After Venus stations on the 3rd and begins to move forward, you may find your

life moves according to plan a little more. Those mysteries that have been

befuddling you may finally yield their fruits. Be attentive to a subtle shift

around the 18th when Venus enters Uttarashada. Before the 18th, you may be

focused on self improvement even at the expense of ruffling feathers. After

the 18th, you may be more retiring in the face of opposition and prefer to sit

back and reflect more about your situation. A spirit of reconciliation may

GEMINI (Jun 15 - Jul 15) For most of the

course of this transit, be aware of speaking too frankly, especially with

superiors. The period from the 20th and the 23rd looks promising for

friendship and socializing.CANCER (Jul 16 - Aug 15) With Ketu still

transiting Hasta, your life with continue to have an edge to it. This will

likely keep you a little off balance and may make relaxing difficult. Some

problems concerning partners may occupy your thoughts in the first half of the

month as the Sun transits the 7th house in the presence of dissolute Neptune.

There may be an unusual air about you this month that can impede progress when

23rd.SCORPIO (Nov 16 - Dec 14) As Mars transits Krittika for much of

February, expect your powers of perception to be at their most acute. At

times, this may be a little too much for some people around you, especially

since Mars is currently in Taurus, the sign of the bull. Certainly, if you can

direct your energy into new projects then that is one way to avoid

coming on too strong. Workplace efforts are highlighted now as you have what it

takes to be persuasive and market your ideas to the right people. Around the

20th, there may be some tense moments involving a boss or person of authority.

And since Mars is transiting your 7th house, relationship matters will also be

front and centre. Near the 24th, things may get a bit murky so be sure to ask

for proof. SAGITTARIUS (Dec 15 - Jan 13) Your good fortune will likely

continue for another month at least since Jupiter sits happily in your 11th

house of gains. It's starting to slow down as it approaches the station in

early March, but that if anything will make it stronger. Venus turning direct

in your first house after the 3rd is also part of this lucky picture for you.

As February progresses, things will remain favourable (of course!) as Venus

moves into Uttarashada after the 19th. Expect more

gains at work and new insights into affairs that can make an important

difference in your life around this time. Relations with siblings go well in

the second half of the month generally, as new, unusual ways of thinking create

hitherto unforseen opportunities. CAPRICORN (Jan 14 - Feb 12) Both the

Sun and Mercury transit your birth sign in the first half of this month making

you more noticeable than usual. Career matters improve after the 3rd as Venus,

your lord of the 10th house of status, turns direct. And with your 10th house

Jupiter slowing down towards its station in early March, you can look forward

to helpful developments in the workplace. The really significant improvements

probably won't occur until the last week of the month when Venus enters

Capricorn. As before, however, none of this will feel especially gratifying

just yet as your life will be subject to periodic sudden

changes and minor bumps in the road. As long as Rahu remains in close aspect to

AQUARIUS (Feb 13 - March 13) February may start a little slowly for you,

but picks up sharply by mid-month. You make new friends and extend your

Valentine's Day, you may learn something new that strengthens your belief

3rd and completes its transit of Purvashada. A good date to circle would be the
