Guest guest
Yes, Shelley and Byron, and many others, are the topics of discussion in books on bi polar. Since they are famous, and their rantings and strange bipolar lifestyles are well documented, they are fodder for discussion about mental disease and creativity specifically. The creatives of the world are often bipolar, especially when they are white. In order to get through this devastating and painful disease, these days you take shelter in thinking that it's nice that at least a lot of famous creative people were like you. Ashwini rising was he? Hmmm, the people I know who are Ashvini rising are (all 3 of us), rather mad, or, at least a little "touched". I think it's a very impulsive, difficult nakshatra to have ruling your Lagna. It's very empowering in terms of action...like a little Ram in the mountains jumping, but that raw exuberance is immature, and leads to problems maturing, accepting Saturn's realities or lessons. A movie I saw which showed the lives of Shelley and Byron showed all their strange behaviors and suicidalness, but made it appear as if they were being jesters or the like. I think rather they were not "having fun" by putting guns to their heads, but rather, like Van Gogh, they were suffering the pangs of being extremely high vatta, or vatta deranged, with it's gifts of vision and creativity, and it's curses of hearing the voices of ghosts and demons, and all manor of horrifying thought.
