Can Vedic-astrology be confined to mere science of prediction or as a part of whole vedic culture.

Hi all versatiles/scholors.

Sometime, I feel amazed to see few astrologers are

becoming in focus overnight for the accuracy of their

predictions and also they become ignored by the public

for their respective inaccuracy.

If we go back to the ancient stages, ancient

astrologers like Barahmihira, Parasara etc. strived a

lot in establishing a mathod which can transform the

sacred vision of vedas in various field like

medicines, architects, forecasting etc. at a time

where scientific infrastructure were hardly to see.And

in due course of time it proved by the modern

scientist with their full package of infrastructure

atleast in areas of astronomy, meterology etc.

But there are many thing left still to be supported

with scientific infrastructure. And forecasting may be

one among them, which, suffers unfortunately by the

effect.

Under the pretext, does it not quite unfair to expect

some bold new things from astrologers in order to

simply major their scholority on the basis of

prediction without any support of infrastructure,at a

time when advanced science with full package of

infrastructure is failed to discharge the

functionaries. Need valued comments.

P K Tripathy,

Vedic scholor.
