Guest guest
To all members: Based on reading the Book of Proverbs, I have noticed a few passages that have relevance or correlation with jyotish principles. These are: 1. Wisdom is important for the success of an individual-- In jyotish, wisdom can be found in the Trikona Houses, which are all related to dharma of the individual. Knowledge of the body or the significations of the first house contributes to good health for carrying out one's goals. Knowledge of various subjects including mantras (5th house matters) gives the individual alternatives to tackling life's challenges. Since the 5th house is in the 8th house of the 10th house, it gives the individual much leverage relating to career choices and longevity. If effect, the more training a person has in a subject matter, the better the person will get the job position he or she wants. Or, the person can start a business relating to the knowledge he or she has acquired. Knowledge of one's faith (9th house matters) increases the support of Nature in all of one's activities. Knowledge of one's faith would help in A. Finding a spouse, since the 9th is an upachaya house from the 7th house. B. Increasing friends and income, since the 9th has argala on the 11th house. C. Promotes peace in the home, since the 9th is an upachaya house to the 4th house of domestic tranquility. D. Decreases enemies, since the 9th house has argala on the 6th house of competitors. I will post other observations relating this matter if there is interest among the members. Regards, John R.
