Guest guest
To Ashutosh and all members: King Solomon states "...Take no notice of a loose-living woman, for the lips of this alien drip with honey, her words are smoother than oil, but their outcome is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword." This passage paraphrases a sloka from the B. Gita relating to the loss of dharma due to the corruption of women. In jyotish terms, these passages relate to the importance of the 7th house to the life of the individual, whether male or female. Specifically, the 7th house affects 1. 9th house since it is an upachaya house from the 7th house and has argala on the house of dharma. A malefic planet on the 9th can cause the loss of dharma due to preoccupation of the spouses misdeeds. In particular, the 3rd house from the 7th house relates to the sexual activities or proclivities of the spouse. 2. 10th house of karma, since the 7th is 10th from the 10th house. In other words, our spouses have an important role in developing our reputation and career prospects. 3. 12th house of moksha, since the 12th house is in an upachaya house from the 7th. That is, our relationships can promote or hinder our progress to moksha. 4. 4th house of domestic serenity, since this is the 10th house from the 7th house. In other words, the tranquility of the home is dependent on our choice of spouses. 5. the 5th house of children, since the 7th house has (i) argala on the 5th house and (ii) is in an upachaya house from the house of marriage. In practical terms, our spouses have an important role in the education and welfare of children.
