Guest guest
Dear John Good points. I do not see any seperative influences on Bush's 10th lord and 10th house so I figure he will complete his term. Being the last year of the 8th Lords Mahadasha it was not expected that this would be a fortunate time. The running joke in Washington is that just as they could never get rid of Nixon as President whilst Spiro Agnew was deputy because Agnew was even more disliked than Nixon so they will never be able to get rid of Bush because the alternative is Cheney. That might be why there seems to be a focus on Cheney at the moment. Funnily the American public has turned away from him since hurricane Katrina which was not his doing and although he got caught out with the incompetence of Michael Brown had it not been for cyclone Katrina nobody would have noticed. I see the Mercury Mahdasha of Bush having less natural calamities but more economic problems. The unfortunate mix of cronyism , incompotence and risktaking that characterises this administration has another three years to run . His epitaph will likely read a great campaigner but unfortunately a dreadful leader. Guest guest
Namaste Nicholas, In political terms, it will be hard for President Bush to be impeached as the Republicans have the majority in Congress. However, the issue of Iraq will be a major campaign issue in the next election, if the Americans are still in Iraq by that time. In this forum, we have been using the Kelleher US Chart to make predictions for major events in the US. In this chart, the US has a Sagittarius rising. As such, the transit of Saturn in Cancer has contributed much misery to the US, e.g. the hurricane Katrina and the resulting high costs fo fuel. This same Saturn transit is similarly affecting the 10th house matters for the US. In this case, we are witnessing the President under media attack for handling of the Iraqi war. More likely, the president will be under duress for the next two years. By the time the next election comes, Jupiter will be trasiting the lagna. It is more likely that the American electorate will be more receptive to new ideas in handling the economy and world affairs. It is likely that the electorate will be able to understand the need for peace and prosperity in the homeland and the world. In other words, the conservative agenda relating to the Iraqi war and the economy will be less appealing to the voters.
