Soup Bowl on the Floor and Amma's prayer (for Juliana and all)

something deep within us that too often has been forgotten due to

Well said, Juliana,

 

The bowl of soup is not only indicative of craving for material help

but also, is the cry of the Earth for more spiritual purification.

The bowl stands for desire, that it is a soup bowl stands for the

indication to be more ethereal(annam parabrahmah swaroopam- Indeed

the food is the real persona of the Lord) and that it is on the floor

indicates a more universal nature of the craving.

 

I know I have not put as succinctly and as simple way as you put but

I think this will help in some way.
