Astrologically, the Moon occupying a dusthana, in a kemadruma yoga,

can

give one a life of much time spent alone. Persons that have this

combination also tend to attract friends with a similar lunar

placement,

by the rule of like attracts like I suppose. Whether one that has this

planetary placement is 'lonely' though is another question all

together.

Were you talking about me? Mines in 11th (I think this is the ultimate dusthana

as it feeds them all). I’m not talking corny Hindu saying

“Papasthana”, I mean, cornily repeated by moi like a suka, rather,

no, I mean, from realization, about desire. But I’m not done realizing,

so enough on that.

Kemadruma...it is lonely...it’s about being separate, plain and simple.

That’s my thought, thoroughly thunk. And in my case, it’s with the

Bhikshu Karaka, hence, I’ve always gotten along well with priest/monk

types, though in the last few years I’ve left religion and dogma for

re-pigioned lasagna.

A separate Moon, in the world of omens and such, means obviously

“separation”, because the Moon is the Speaker, after the Lagna.

These two “talk” loudly to give personality, and separate Moon

means saying separate things like “I have some knowledge you all

don’t have” or “I believe in things nobody around me believes

in”.

If the person has Ketu with Moon, then Rahu is 7th, and this means a life of

association with outsiders and strangers, hence emphasizing anything already

Kemadruma”

Kemadruma is separate, which means the possibility of “vantage view”

is greater, hence, the possibility of “seer” can be losely

associated upon further significations of like elsewhere.

Know one Sannyasi. During Moon dasha, badly Kemadruma, he became drug addicted,

meat eater, drugs, woman, everything not Sannyas for Vaisnavas, then, at end of

10 years, boom, back to original strict and respected position. Strange.

Thanks

Hi Das,

I was actually thinking about my chart (Moon in 8th in kemadruma), but

I was also thinking about yours in the background (I consider my own Moon more

afflicted). I've had many friends with similar placements, and their friends

often have similar placements as well.

That’s my thought, thoroughly thunk. And in my case, it’s with the Bhikshu

Karaka, hence, I’ve always gotten along well with priest/monk types, though

The Greek equivalent (and some think the origin of the word Kemadruma) word is

Kenodromia which means the Void of Course Moon. I think some westerners might

agree that the Void of Course Moon is good for spiritual pursuits.

Strange.

There's nothing like experience in the 'real' world to sometimes set one straight on his path....

Best,

Steve
