This is taken from a reprinted article in Dell Astrology magazine Sept. 1994. This subject was also featured on "Unsolved Mysteries" some years ago. Here is the site: http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/rosemurray/Pastlive.html I have posted this info previously on the VAList last year when the topic came up but there wasn't any interest in it at the time. It's data like this that we need to try and establish the link between lifetimes (if indeed such a thing is possible). Some additional information from an autobiography by Swami Kriyananda regarding his discussions with Paramahansa Yogananda and Yoganandas statements regarding the previous lifetimes of various world figures. 1. Ghengis Khan/Joseph Stalin 2. Napoleon/Winston Churchill 3. Yogi in Himalyas/Abe Lincoln/Charles Lindbergh A few things to think about, More later, Steve

One of the most fascinating ideas in the article is that the nodal axis in the latter chart often lines up with the ascendant/descendant axis or midheaven/IC axis in the former. Dear Juliana, Yes, I found the same idea very interesting. The Nodes in general indicate a certain 'other worldlyness' and I always associate them with ghosts, departed ancestors, UFO abductions etc. I normally look to the 12th house for the immediate past life as well as after death states for the current life. That the 12th house sign is the former life lagna is an idea I have seen many years ago. I also have a client whose ex- husband committed suicide (this was in the late fall of last year). Suicide is always a devastating event for friends and family members (and a good way to rack up some very difficult karma in my opinion). This does not work with Napoleon III's chart and Sir Winston Churchill's, though. However, Charles Lindbergh and Abraham Lincoln charts have Ketu nearly conjunct in their respective charts, but these did not line up with the ascendant/descendant axis or midheaven/IC axes. Joseph Stalin's chart shows Ketu in Cancer, where Ghengis Khan's Moon is posited. I did some work with all the above charts some years ago, including the use various varga charts for Bruce Kelly and James Johnston, trying to see some type of common thread to link them together. I didn't come up with anything earth shaking. What we need are many more exact datas like these to get a better perspective. Of course the word 'exact' in the realm of reincarnation research would provide a great football to kick around for the more skeptical and scientific amongst us. :>)) Best wishes, Steve
