Guest guest
Those who are really serious about the Goal Supreme should remember one important truth, that when they take up spiritual life, they are opening a new account, so to say. A great monk of the Ramakrishna order, Swami Yatiswaranandaji, used to say that real spiritual life is like opening a new account with a bank. We have to close all old accounts. What does it mean? That means, if we want to lead a spiritual life, we should forget old habits, old desires and old inclinations, and we should not yield to any kind of fresh cravings. No doubt this is very difficult, because we have so many desires of the body as also many desires of the mind. But we are concerned with the attainment of a goal which can be attained only when we are prepared to transcend the limitations of body-mind complex. If we are to reach our real divine nature, the Atman or pure consciousness, we should not get attached to the body-mind complex, allowing ourselves to be victims of so many desires. Is it possible? Then sometimes the thought may also come to our mind, "We have had a bad past." To such a person, the great will say, "Do not brood over the past, but forget all about it." It has been said, "Every saint has had a past, and every sinner has a future." What kind of past? It might be a very inglorious past. We must have the conviction that as every saint had a past, so every sinner can have a glorious future. If we take up this line of thinking, it will help us to overcome whatever impure impressions there are in our mind. Hari Om Tat Sat! Dear Shri Apparao accept my respectful pranams! The loka is itself an mrithyu bhoomi for only death nourishes in this mortal world. Your neighbor’s house is also a burial ground, since he will kill numerous jivas with or without knowing himself. Your neighbor needs to ask HIM forgiveness in my humble opinion to Matha Sri Parameshwari for she won’t tolerate this rude behavior. Lord Shiva, the greatest one ever, Sri Mahadeva is beyond emotions and does not care or does not show he cares; for one can never ever understand SHIVA unless his Bhakthi is pure. Lord Shiva is all auspicious, HE is bhaktha priya, HIS presence is auspicious, HIS temple, HIS name, HIS attire, HIS linga, HIS leela are all auspicious and should not be dis-respected like your foolish neighbor. Your neighbor should wear his ego under his feet as ornament not to have his ego as a dress. He has invited the anger of Sri Mahadeva upasaka’s including Sri Narayana. Subham Dinam Astu! Respected Siva bhaktas With a great excuse I am writing about one incident happened in front of me. Even though it is the mistake of the person I am writing here to request your valuable views/suggestions for arguing with any body who come across in future. Once it happened to go to a Siva temple with some cotenents. we have visited Siva temple, offered coconut and the pujari gave us a half of the coconut for us and we were slowly moving. Afterwards our neibour also offered coconut to the God and the pujari after offerig to God Siva he asked the person to please take half of the coconut. But he bluntly refused to accept the coconut prasadam stating that it is nothing but a burrial ground, because God Siva stays only at Burrial grounds/smasanams. We are not supposed to take anything back to home after visiting burrial ground. Immediately there was a big discussion between the pujari and our neibour. Pujari politely told him if this the burrial ground what for you came here and you would have not come here at all. We felt very sorry after hereing this words. From that time onwards we would like to clarify this point. And I hope this is the occation to get my clarification on the above issue.
