There is one truth. To spread it, repeating of old findings is necessary.

I study ancient history, and there, it is totally acceptable and required to

repeat what was found before. All Roman historians used earlier Greek and

Roman works as basis, and this was normal.

 

In Hinduism too, it is considered required to quote previous sastras for

validity.

 

In Celtic lore, the Bard must learn by heart the previous tales exactly, and

the lineages.

 

Indeed, in writing about young girls journeys through puberty, there are

standard things that come up, like going to 170 specialty stores. She

should have changed the number and the wording more. Her speed of writing

is her problem. She was a bad plagiarizer.

 

Haste makes waste, and lawsuits.
