Pot growing wild and freely in the heart of Navadwip

Oh yeah, one last thing. When I was 23, living at my Guru's Math just

outside Navadwip in West Bengal, I remember seeing large patches, really

large, of pot, growing proudly along the main road in vacant lots, and it

was obviously neither being picked, nor uprooted, it was just, well, growing

there like a huge weed.

 

And by the way, what is it then that all those riksha wallas are so stoned

on...their eyes are totally red, they look all screwed up, and act like it

too.... is it just betal?
