great rant, das.

there is something some call 'the law of allowing'

and that can be allowing us all to have our own

ideas, beliefs, actions, etc. and it also is for us to

allow others to be stoopid. as stoopid as they wish.

that allows us peace of mind.

and peace of mind is the most precious thing in

the world. everything in this world is trying to

pull us out of it. we can say anything we want and

still have peace of mind. we can do anything we

want and still have peace of mind. but if we throw

our peace of mind away for any reason at all, for

any reason that may even be totally righteous,

then we have lost.

your rant was great.

and i just hope you felt peaceful writing it.

for the ideas are true.

the feelings can also be true, neutral, peaceful.

religion is a business and a way to control people.

sad but true.

but few do the real work, of getting to know their

own life force. in that is what was lost in religions.

in that is power, wisdom, love.

in that is the Self. :)

neutral.

best to you.

love, patricia

Dear Members,

A quote from Neil Young:

"Out of the blue and into the black

They give you this but you pay for that

Any once you're gone you can never come back

When you're out of the blue and into the black"

the above expresses my sentiments regarding the spiritual journey--it's

a very hopeful note by the way. Various teachings and your own

sincerity take you to the jumping off place--after that our ability to

rely on our own supposed 'goodness' becomes thankfully, very shaky.

Best wishes,

Steve
