Insights on USA Natal Chart

To all members:

 

We have discussed off and on since last summer that the USA lagna is

Sagittarius based on a research by James Kelleher, a jyotishi from

California, USA. In my opinion, this lagna has been validated by

many of the recent world events. At the primary level, the chart

shows that the USA would consider itself as a world leader to promote

democracy and economic prosperity for all nations. We can see this

by the many planets in the 7th house.

 

Due to the preponderence of planets in the 7th house, a bhadaka

bhava, the USA has the tendency to have difficult relationships with

its allies, not to mention its enemies. Hence, all of the

presidential administrations since WWII have been involved in wars

and minor conflicts up to now.

 

On the secondary level, the arudha lagna is Virgo which reveals the

economic and monetary strength of the USA. The first house has

Saturn which, according to Jaimini principles, would make the USA a

nation that would nurture a society that can be succesful at various

work activities, e.g. science, computers, health matters. As such,

the USA has been able to encourage its population to succeed at

various fields. Also, it has been able to attract talented people

from other countries to live and work in the USA.

 

The 10th house from the arudha lagna has many planets, including

Jupiter, Mars, Sun and Venus. As such, the USA has become a world

power through its economic success. The 10th house lord, Mercury, is

in the 11th house which solidifies the success in money matters and

material activities.

 

With this in mind, we can further note that the USA is undergoing

some difficulties from the world front, i.e. the wars in Iraq and

Afghanistan, due to the trasit of Saturn in the the 8th house

(Cancer). As mentioned by jyotishis in the other forums, Mars will

conjunct the navamsa position of Saturn in June 10, 2006.

 

In my opinion, due to this conjunction, it is highly probable that

there will be some kind of natural disaster that will occur in the

USA. Because of the time period and the conjunction being in Cancer

(a watery sign), there could be another hurricane that would inflict

damage in the Florida area or the Gulf Coast.

 

Because of this damage, there will be unfortunate loss of lives and

resulting economic losses. This damage will take an economic toll as

well in the US stock market. However, the stock will rebound after

Mars leaves the rashi of Cancer.
