Guest guest
Hi Juliana, Just wanted to butt in here, because you mentioned something that is not entirely consistent with Vedic astrological horary (Prasna) principles. You mentioned that Saturn in the 7th House can often signify that the astrologer - since he/she is represented by the 7th - can be subject to making mistakes and so on. This is not so, from a Vedic perspective. Actually this is a Medieval Horary principle, hailing from among others, the Lilly period (1600s England). There is no such "stricture" in Prasna. Hope this clears things up a bit. Guest guest
Dear Mu, Astrology as we see today is an composite of various principles and schools of thoughts. Why do we have to argue about whether something is included in Prashna or not? Which specific book are we refering to? If something works and is applicable then it is a principle. Remember, there is nothing called vedic astrology. It is simply a term devised by western world to categorize Indian systems of astrology and none of these sciences are purely Indian. The form of astrology we study today was non-existent in vedic era. So, be ready for new schools of thought and astrological ideas from various schools combining to make a new system. I never refer to any jyotish books or writers while predicting. I predict using only my practical exeriences in jyotish and intuition.
