saturn aspecting 7th house

Hi I'm fairly new to vedic astrology. Can someone tell me how saturn

aspecting the 7th house might play out? Thanks Chintamani

I am sag rising and have saturn in the 10th (in virgo) which is aspectig my

7th house of gemini. I would love to get some insights too if possible of how

play out?"...to answer this, I think first it is important to understand

Saturn's role in the particular chart....i.e., which houses does Saturn rule,

and then understand what Rasi he is in in the 7th house. Then you can more

definitively understand what his aspect on the 7th house will be. For example,

if you have a native with Vrisha Lagna, Saturn is a powerful yogakaraka as lord

of the 9th and 10th houses. If Saturn is in Scorpio/7th aspecting his own 1st

house, he is powerful to help this individual who may be gifted in personal and

business interactions. He may be a hard worker witha a shrewd understanding of

how to work with people toward an important cause.Conversely, if the Lagna is

Meena, Saturn rules the 11th and 12th houses and is a

temporal malefic that can cause extreme highs and lows, ups and downs, and

losses and gains. In this case if Saturn were in the 7th house, he would be in

his debilitation rasi of Aries, though some cancellation of debilitation

(neecha bhanga) may exist because Saturn is in a kendra. Nonetheless, Saturn

may cause frustration and obstructions in relationships, and interpersonal

relationships may be fraught with challenges. On the plus side, Saturn's aspect

to his exaltation sign of Libra would possibly indicate a positive result giving

focus, artistic ability, organizational skill and a life that improves over

time.Generally, Saturn in the 7th house can give obstructions or delays in

partnerships but also an objective ability in business. The native may have

opportunities to engage in activities with foreign partners. I have seen many

charts with Saturn in the 7th house that have longevity and stability in

partnerships, such

as enduring marriages. Often, a native with this Saturn will be attracted to

older partners. The native may have a serious or mature attitude to

relationships.In a Prasna chart, because the 7th house usually governs the

astrologer, we are told that a reading may not be accurate when Saturn is in

the 7th house because it may indicate that the astrologer's judgment is in some

way impaired...this may be true unless Saturn has special significance for the
