Guest guest Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 JS3 stands for ³Jyotish Studio 3² That is the next generation of Goravani Jyotish. Right now Goravani Jyotish is at version 2.5. That is what many have, that is what I¹ve been selling for awhile. There was 2.26, now there is 2.5 So the next number is 3, right? However, I¹m renaming the program. So instead of Goravani Jyotish 3, it¹s called ³Jyotish Studio 3². So firstly, it¹s an upgrade to my program. That¹s what it is mainly. Then, the part that says ³Beta 2² means that this is the second (2) release of the ³Beta² version. Beta is what software is called when it¹s not quite done, but it¹s done enough to be useable and tested out. So this all means I am pre-releasing my next version now, in hopes that people will use it and give feedback. It¹s also a way for me to start making money on years of programming since about 1999. I began making it way back then. It¹s been in the works and sitting around my apartment for a long time. So, if you buy it, which I hope you will ALL do, then you get a new version of Goravani Jyotish which is RADICALLY different from the old one. This is space age compared to the Goravani Jyotish the world has been used to. This looks and feels completely different and does much more interesting stuff. The readings are also much more edited. So much is different. I couldn¹t possibly list it all. Let me assure you this: If competent users get this now, and try it out, and read the manual that comes with it, they will probably post very excited letters to this forum. It is a very interesting and fun piece of software. It¹s the future. So this is a regular upgrade on the one hand. It¹s my next version. On the other hand it¹s the future of Jyotish. It¹s unlike anything from anybody to date. No other software looks or acts like this one at all. It has some work to be done on it still. I have to finish it fully still. But enough is done to where you can use it and get a lot out of it. If one asks why this follows so soon after GJ 2.5, the answer is: GJ 2.5 HAD TO BE MADE because the Panchang ran out. I would rather NOT have done it, but I HAD TO to keep the Panchang going. That¹s why in general I charged so little for it (for most it was only $25). The REAL upgrade is this one, JS3. So for me 2.5 was just a maintenance necessity. This JS3 is my REAL BABY and my REAL WORK OF ART. Please buy it, one and all. And read the PDF manual that comes with it. That will be very important in this case. In this case, JS3, you must do some learning. If you do, you will be amazed at what it gives you just like when you get Photoshop from Adobe, you have to do some learning, and then you are amazed at what you can do with art on your computer. So this JS3 is the ³Photoshop of Jyotish², so to speak. I hope everyone orders it. The CD¹s and downloads are ready and waiting. To those few early birds who have already ordered it, I thank you !
