Guest guest
Religion should not govern actions towards others, because it is only a ³belief², a ³faith², which is a personal choice, and cannot be made for others. For the world to be a better place, people have to come to part with letting these old religions guide them in these war like actions. That is so last millennium. Getting hot over Ayodhya because it was Ram¹s place etc., that is so silly since it was so very long ago that he lived, if he ever did, if he isn¹t just a myth. These wars over holy dirt should stop.... Israel, Jerusalem, Ayodya, Mecca, blah blah blah... Holy dirt. How many have to die for ³Holy Dirt² And following revelations...like the Quaran... Hey... If we follow every person who says an angel told him this and that...we¹d be following MILLIONS of babas, yogis, saints, etc., in every country. It would be, well, BABYLON (Which is short for living like BABYS for a very LONG time) Economics and trade matter more, and so greed is more of an issue. Dismantling special interests (like the Bush¹s and their Oil interests), is much more important. The old ways of Trusts and Corporations, the old money, the Federal Reserve, World Bank, and the huge caches of stolen Gold of yore, the ownership of people and countries and lands and multi-national corporations, should be publicized, not privatized. They are OUR corporations because we are PAYING for them (by buying their products). Let all oil companies and other big companies become publicly owned. Basically, remove Greed as a possibility, and the world will be a better place. Religion should be a private thing, like lighting incense in one¹s home, or going to the toilet. It¹s private. If you want to be crazy enough to believe in something you have zero proof of, then that¹s your business, but don¹t kill other people because they are not as silly as you in your beliefs. Besides, we all have our different silly ancient cultures to hold onto for fun and festivities. In mine, we draw knots and drink mead and play music to the beat of 3... In another, they jump around in front of statues, then drink yogurt with tulasi leaves on top yelling ³God is a thief². In another, they bang their heads on the floor five times a day and look out a little hole in the wall towards the East then eat falafals while the woman sweat it out in black. In another, they shoot off fireworks, then barbecue a cow, get fat, and talk about getting thin. In the end, I agree with Lancelot...there will always be a battlefield. Sad to say. Humans are meant to suffer because personally they will reach enlightenment this way. Our follies are cured by suffering. Mars, Sun, Venus, Jupiter, these all have their endings and have no place in eternity. But the lessons of Saturn and Ketu do prepare us to leave these other temporary worldly concerns behind, so that we can go to a place where nobody dares to be greedy, or special, or a priest, or a warrior, or a beauty grabber, etc etc. The follies of this world have to all be weeded out, before we can go to a place where there really is peace, which is maintained by actually living the equality that is actually true.
