Dear Sateesh, You must have anticipated an event or events related to this combination as other members have also mentioned. It's interesting to note also that the Mars/Rahu conjunction will be occurring close to the Sun/Moon of the New Moon in Pisces/Solar Eclipse of April 8th,2005 (at 25* Pisces). This eclipse occurred on the day of the Pope's funeral and the planned royal wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla (re-scheduled one day due to the funeral). The eclipse Venus, at it's degree of exaltation (27 Pisces) and under close combustion from the Sun, while receiving Saturn's aspect, seemed to fit well into the mundane events that transpired at that time--i.e. death of an 'exalted' personality and the spoiling of the royal 'wedding' plans. In light of the London bombings today, it will be interesting to watch the movement of Mars across the eclipse Sun/Moon/Venus while it also comes to exact square of the eclipse Saturn over the next week. Since the Venus is at it's degree of exaltation in the eclipse, prominent or 'exalted' personalites may be drawn into events. A similar planetary situation occurred against the solar eclipse prior to 9/11. That eclipse of June21, 2001 had the Sun/Moon at 6 Gemini. Mars/Ketu were converging together at 7/8 of Sagittarius on 9/11 and thus powerfully interacting with the eclipse. Guest guest
Dear Steve, Just woke up, so only just heard the News. Rahu-Mars conjunctions usually in my experience (either in Natal, or Transits) tend to be explosive or sudden in nature. With Ketu's 7th-aspect (if one uses that), I tend to find a planet is worse afflicted when CONJUNCT one of the 2 nodes - as the other one automatically then opposes said planet. Whereas if it is just one of the Nodes casting its trine aspect (5 or 9) on a planet, effects are far less. Very interesting about the pre 9-11 Eclipse - thanks for detailing that. Guest guest
Sateesh, This is good confirmation of the 1801 chart. When will they ever learn? Hope you and yours are doing fine. We'll be watching further developments Steve in regards to that Mars transit over the eclipse positions. Certainly there is more affliction in the US chart that makes me wonder if there is more to come. Guest guest
Dear Chris, Thanks - I am in Outer London (near Heathrow Airport), so well away from the City centre which is more a political target. Manoj In your chart Mars and Rahu are 6*52' apart. So there is no conjunction. Saturn lord of the 10th house of profession is strong and well placed in the 11th house. So no need to be anxious regarding your career. With regards.
