Guessing an acquaintance's lagna from bits of information. . . .

Hello members,

 

I was wondering if this seemed a worthwhile exercise to all of you.

 

Female Native:

9/21/79

74W21'57", 40N24'53"

Old Bridge NJ (guess)

 

I know a girl who cuts hair (Venus- beauty, image + Mars- "the cutter") ) in a

trendy salon.

She was born 9/21/79 in Central Jersey area, probably Old Bridge, NJ . So most

of her

planets can be known with some accuracy, just not the Moon as much, and not the

Lagna.

But there are some clues from her that may, if accurate, help determine the

lagna. I have

some here along with my theories.

 

 

1. She like Horror/ dark type movies --- maybe Scorpio in some area of the

chart to do

with entertainments --5th house, Venus?

 

2. She lives in the same building as her Mother, in the lower floor. Ruler of

1st (self) with

4th ( mother and home) in some relationship with the 7th (one's own home)?

 

3. She has arthritis (Saturn) of knee area (10th house) that runs in the family.

(Capricorn?)

Involvement of the nodes with the 6th house? is looking into alternative

therapies --

Virgo? Shravana Nakshatra?

 

4. Has flucuating relationships, potentially. Kuja dosha? Afflicted 7th house or

ruler?

 

5. Voice is lower pitch and steady, yet feminine and gentle. Saturn influence on

2nd

house? or Mercury?

 

6. Speech is profuse, almost nervous, gives the impression of a "spiel" at

times, when

working with clients.

 

7. Loves her dogs as if they were her own children.

 

8. Self- described as secure, not insecure

 

any thoughts? Some possibilities I thought of were Capricorn because of the

medical

problem and the living situation. Scorpio because of the interests. Pisces also

because of

the medical and the living in Mother's house in own apt. Her features are of

course

influenced heavily by Virgo, as the that sign is highly tenanted with a Strong

mercury as

well, but I was thinking that the lagna would be an even, feminine sign. She is

slim and

average height.

Dear David,

I am getting a leo ascendent for her.

 

- Eleventh, tenth and lagna lords (mercury and venus and sun) in second.

This explains her slim figure, virgo features, feminine and gentle voice,

profession related to venus, hair (second house again), etc. A debiliated

venus (tenth lord) explaining - "Speech is profuse, almost nervous, gives

the impression of a "spiel" at times, when working with clients".

- Mars in eleventh, seventh lord with jupiter and rahu in lagna, showing her

fluctuating relationships.

- Fifth lord in lagna with rahu and saturn again shows high affection

towards her pets.

- Arthritis in knees. Sixth house (capricorn) lord with Rahu (node) and

jupiter (eigth lord, genetic diseases) in lagna.

The leo ascendent as such does not confirm a masculine nature and

physique. An exalted mercury, moon and venus with lagna lord are enough to

give feminine touch to her personality.

Dear Ashutosh,

 

Thanks very much for this analyzis. I was at the very first leaning

for Leo, but you put your finger on why I was not going for it --

the expectation of there being more of a masculine, outgoing tinge

to her. (I sometimes find that I often feel Leo people's energy --

esp. women -- strongly , perhaps because I have sun in Aquarius.)

Esp. because of her sense of being self-secure, I was thinking

towards Leo. Again, your detailed analysis is very useful to me

from an educational standpoint. Thanks for taking the time.
