Dear John,

I`d say pigeons & sparrows represent ordinary city folk which would tie up

with a younger Saturnian energy ? I have read birds represent Surya but

also Rahu, so am confused.

Doves look like pigeons yet are different somehow. What might they represent

? I get these visiting our house.

I have noticed that the tits, sparrows & woodpeckers eat the animal fat &

seed balls I hang up but the doves & some other species like finches will

only touch the seeds I fill in a bird house.

I used to aggressively shoo away the neighbours cats which were always

hanging around trying to kill all the birds I feed, until I realized that

nature in its wisdom, brings to us what we need.

Now I let the birds & cats get on whith their thing & just do my bit feeding

them without any charge either way.

Perhaps you might also take the visit of the pegeons as an oppotunity to

clear some karmik debt.

my garden also houses a wild but friendly fox, some headghogs, salamanders &

frogs. I feed them all.

I had a pond full of fish but one day recently, a crane came along & fished

it clean. I`m sad about this & am sure its an omen of some sort. The chinese

say fish represent wealth. Its no wonder I`m being taken to the cleaners

recently.....

I would love to know what all the birds & animals represent if you or

someone else knows it.

It will be interesting to read other posts about the pigeons.

Hari Om !

Pigeons as an Omen

To all members:

After several months of chasing away pigeons from the house, I've come

to a conclusion these pigeons must be part of my chart as they don't

seem to go away. According to some jyotish texts, pigeons can be

signifed by Saturn, which happens to be located in my third house. For

the record, I found out that my neighbor, who is elderly and somewhat

senile, is feeding these pigeons during the afternoons. As such, the

birds are constantly flocking in the neighborhood.

Aside from using aggressive methods of eradicating these birds, does

anyone know of other noninvasive methods (preferably a natural one)

that can do the job just as well?

Or, are these birds an omen of things to come? If so, what do they

signify?

Regards,

John R.
